In 2 Timothy 1:6, Paul urges Timothy to “stir up the gift of God.” The phrase means to rekindle a dying ember.

Timothy already possessed the calling. What he needed was renewed intensity.

Leviticus 6:12–13 reveals that the fire on the altar was never permitted to go out. It was the priest’s responsibility to maintain it daily.

Spiritual fire fades through neglect, not rebellion.

When prayer weakens, fire cools.

When obedience delays, fire dims.

When distraction increases, fire weakens.

Romans 12:11 calls believers to remain fervent — spiritually boiling.

Revival does not begin in stadiums. It begins in hearts that refuse to let the flame die.

Declaration

I will guard the fire of God in my life. I will stir up the gift within me and remain fervent in spirit.

Prayer

Father, rekindle holy passion within me. Restore my hunger for prayer and Your Word. Let the fire of Your Spirit burn continually in my heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.
