Our generation loves the idea of Jesus—but often resists the authority of His words.

Scripture, however, leaves no room for separation.

In 2 John 1:9, we are warned that anyone who does not remain in the teaching of Christ does not have God. This isn’t written to unbelievers—it’s written to the church.

Jesus never invited people to edit His message.

He invited them to follow Him fully.

When culture becomes the lens through which we interpret Scripture, truth is lost.

But when Scripture becomes the lens through which we view culture, life is found.

Abiding in Christ means abiding in His teaching.

There is no other biblical definition of faith.

Declaration

I declare that I will abide in the teaching of Jesus Christ. I reject every counterfeit gospel that removes truth for comfort. I submit my life, beliefs, and actions to the authority of Christ and His Word. I choose truth, life, and obedience. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer

Father God, Search my heart and reveal any area where I have resisted Your truth. Give me a hunger for Your Word and a love for sound teaching. Help me to follow Jesus fully—not selectively. I choose obedience, humility, and truth. Lead me deeper in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
