“How do I discover my spiritual gifts?”

The answer is not found in striving—but in seeking, serving, and surrendering.

God has already placed gifts inside of you. The journey is about uncovering what is already there.

Five Ways to Discover Your Spiritual Gifts

1. Seek God in Relationship

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal your gifts. God is not hiding your purpose—He wants to reveal it.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God…” — James 1:5

2. Pay Attention to What Moves You

What stirs your heart often points to your calling. God places desires and burdens inside of you for a reason.

3. Step Out and Serve

You don’t discover your gifts by waiting—you discover them by moving.

“As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another…” — 1 Peter 4:10

4. Recognize Confirmation and Fruit

Your gifts will produce impact. Others will begin to recognize what God has placed inside of you.

“A man’s gift makes room for him…” — Proverbs 18:16

5. Stir Up the Gift

Your gift must be activated through faith, prayer, and obedience.

“Stir up the gift of God which is in you…” — 2 Timothy 1:6

Step Into Your Calling

You don’t need to have everything figured out.

You just need to take the next step.

As you move, God reveals.

As you obey, God confirms.

As you step out, God empowers.

Father, Thank You for placing purpose and gifts inside of me. Holy Spirit, reveal what You have placed within me. Give me the courage to step out and the wisdom to follow Your leading. Remove fear, doubt, and hesitation. Help me to walk boldly in obedience and trust in Your guidance. Let my life be used for Your glory and for the impact of Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
