The book of Revelation contains a remarkable series of blessings that are often overlooked. These blessings, sometimes called the Beatitudes of Revelation, reveal the promises of God for those who remain faithful to Christ.

There are six Beatitudes recorded throughout the book:

1. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord (Revelation 14:13)

2. Blessed are those who watch and keep their garments (Revelation 16:15)

3. Blessed are those called to the marriage supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19:9)

4. Blessed and holy are those who take part in the first resurrection (Revelation 20:6)

5. Blessed are those who keep the words of this prophecy (Revelation 22:7)

6. Blessed are those who do His commandments (Revelation 22:14)

Together, these blessings paint a powerful picture of the faithful believer.

The people who are called blessed in Revelation are those who remain devoted to Christ, walk in obedience to His Word, and live with eternity in view.

Revelation ultimately points us to the victory of Jesus Christ. Though the world may experience turmoil and tribulation, those who belong to the Lamb have a secure and glorious future.

They will rest from their labors, rise in the resurrection of the righteous, participate in the marriage supper of the Lamb, and enter the eternal city of God.

What an incredible promise for those who follow Jesus.

Heavenly Father, Thank You for the hope and encouragement found in Your Word. Thank You for the promises revealed in the book of Revelation that remind us of the victory we have through Jesus Christ. Help us to remain faithful, watchful, and obedient as we walk with You each day. Strengthen our faith and keep our hearts focused on eternity. May our lives bring glory to Jesus until the day we stand in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
