One of the greatest misunderstandings in Christianity is the belief that obedience to the Law saves us. While God’s Law is holy and perfect, it was never intended to produce salvation.

Romans 3:20 tells us plainly that no one is justified by the Law. Instead, the Law reveals sin. It shows us our spiritual condition and points us to our need for a Savior.

The Law functions like a mirror. It can reveal what is wrong—but it has no power to fix it. That’s why Galatians 3:24 tells us the Law leads us to Christ. It prepares us for grace.

Jesus fulfilled the Law on our behalf. Where we failed, He succeeded. Where the Law condemned us, Christ redeemed us. Romans 8:1 declares that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Grace does not lower God’s standard—it meets it through Christ.

Salvation is not achieved through striving, rule-keeping, or moral effort. It is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. This is the heart of the gospel, and it is the freedom every believer is called to walk in.

Declaration

I declare that I am no longer under condemnation. I am justified by faith in Jesus Christ. I do not strive for righteousness—I receive it by grace. I live free, forgiven, and redeemed in Christ.

Prayer

Father God, thank You for revealing truth through Your Word. Thank You that while the Law exposed my sin, Jesus removed my guilt. I receive Your grace fully and rest in the finished work of the cross. Help me walk in freedom, humility, and faith every day. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
