When the Holy Spirit leads you to share the gospel with someone, where do you start?

For many believers, the first instinct is to invite their friend to church. That’s a good step—but it cannot replace YOUR calling to personally share the gospel.

Jesus didn’t say, “Pastors, go and make disciples.” He said to ALL believers:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19)

Called to Be Salt and Light

Matthew 5:13–16 reminds us that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. The world desperately needs Christians who live boldly, speak truthfully, and shine brightly in the darkness.

Too many rely on their church leaders to evangelize for them. Some may feel unprepared, others are afraid, and still others are distracted by life. But distractions are one of the enemy’s greatest weapons. Your true purpose is to share the gospel—at home, at work, in your community, and everywhere you go.

Equipped with Spiritual Gifts

Every believer has been given spiritual gifts (Romans 12:6–8; Ephesians 4:11–12). These gifts are not just for church leadership—they’re for the entire body of Christ. When we discover and use our gifts, we become powerful witnesses of God’s love.

Equipped for the Mission

2 Timothy 3:17 tells us that Scripture makes us “complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” Being equipped means studying God’s Word, being changed by His Spirit, and walking in obedience. Pastors equip the saints, but YOU must step into action.

A Call to Boldness

The time is now. Our world is living under great deception, but the truth of the gospel is still the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16). If every believer would step into their calling, we would see revival like never before.

Stop waiting for someone else. Step up, stand up, and share Jesus today!

Declaration

I declare that I am equipped, empowered, and called to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. I will not shrink back in fear or rely on others to do my part. I will be salt and light in the world, using the gifts God has given me to bring glory to His name.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for entrusting me with the privilege of sharing the gospel. Remove distractions from my life and fill me with boldness to proclaim Your Word. Help me discover and use my spiritual gifts for Your glory. May my life and my words lead many to salvation in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
