Mission Statement

The mission of the Walking in the Word Christian Recovery Group is to provide a Christ-centered, Spirit-led, and Scripture-based environment where individuals experiencing life-controlling struggles can encounter the healing, freedom, and restoration found in Jesus Christ.

We exist to walk alongside people as they move from bondage to freedom, from brokenness to wholeness, and from isolation to biblical community, through the power of the Holy Spirit, the truth of God’s Word, and authentic Christian fellowship.

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” — Galatians 5:1

Core Purpose

This recovery group is designed to:

  • Create a safe, confidential, and grace-filled space
  • Encourage spiritual growth, repentance, and renewal
  • Foster accountability and biblical discipleship
  • Point participants toward lasting freedom in Christ, not dependence on a program

Recovery is not the end goal—discipleship and transformation in Christ are.
