The Christian life is meant to be lived fully on fire for God, fueled by an unquenchable desire for Jesus and the fire of the Holy Spirit. In my newest message series, Consumed – On Fire for God – Desiring Jesus and His Fire, we explore how to cultivate a deep hunger for intimacy with Jesus, be filled daily with His Spirit, and walk in the gifts and power God has given us.

Psalm 42:1 beautifully captures this longing: “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for You, O God.” This series challenges you to pursue Jesus passionately, seek the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and ask boldly for the spiritual gifts that empower you to impact the world.

Don’t settle for a lukewarm faith—desire Jesus and His fire with all your heart!

Affirmation:

I declare that my heart burns with a deep desire for Jesus. I am filled daily with the fire of the Holy Spirit and walk boldly in the gifts and power God has given me. My life is fully consumed by His presence and glory.

Prayer:

Father, ignite within me a passionate desire for Jesus and the fire of Your Holy Spirit. Help me to seek You daily, to be filled with Your power, and to walk boldly in the gifts You have bestowed. Let my life be a blazing witness of Your glory and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
